Psalm 107:1-2 says “O, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

As I was thinking about what I would like to share with you here I read something that Kristi posted to Facebook in reference to the message yesterday evening. She captured my feelings perfectly and I would like to share that with you now.

My husband mentioned last night in his sermon that we are quick to share our complaints and our opinions quite often but how much do we share our praise?!? Real genuine praise!

This may not sound like praise at first but wait:

I’m a mess, I make mistakes, I regret, I doubt, I question, I get angry, I can be lazy, I can be selfish, I don’t like vulnerability, I enjoy my comfort zone and I fail, A Lot!

Good news is:

God doesn’t see my value/worth through those things! I was bought at an incredibly high price. The value of something is determined by how much someone will pay for it. I was bought at the cost of Jesus’ life. He sent His only son to die in my place. One day I won’t carry those characteristics on my shoulders anymore. They won’t seem to define me!

Thank you, Jesus for the empty grave, thank you that one day I will see the “Promised Land” I will see my Savior (hallelujah!), that’s more valuable than anything and I can’t wait, how about you?

What will you praise Him for today?

Kristi and I continue to pray for you daily.

Until He Comes,

Pastor Greg
